Why we exist
In Burundi a diploma often leads nowhere
Burundi is amongst the poorest countries in the world. Jobs are scarce, and many graduates drop out or accept work far below their qualifications simply to avoid unemployment. The talent is there but what's missing are the tools, the practical experience, and the networks to turn degree into a livelihood. That's the gap we work in, alongside students and local partners.
What we do
We help young people in Burundi learn by doing and running real project, in their own communities, with local partners.
We Show Our Work
We visit Burundi regularly to supervise our projects ourselves, so donors can see exactly how their contribution is used.
We Build to Last
We design projects to stand on their own, handing over full ownership once they can run without us.
We Spend Wisely
We use every donor’s contribution to its fullest potential, responsibly and accountably.
We Empower Students
Our aim isn’t to hand out support, but to give students the tools and confidence to build their own opportunities.
